Our “Birkenhof” hotel is not only an oasis of peace and tranquillity set in a uniquely beautiful location in Steibis affording panoramic views from the “Paradies” to Staufen, but it is also our home. It is particularly important to us that our guests should feel at ease so we attend to their needs in person. “We” – are the Braunsch family with the admirably support of our young team of employees.
For the past 20 years we have successfully been offering the original Schroth cure.
Our creative cuisine comprising high-grade produce plays an essential role in our guests’ well being, for, as everyone knows – the way to the heart is through the stomach. Our panorama patio affording magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, the new south-facing conservatory or our rustic “Weinschenke” à la carte restaurant all provide the perfect setting for lunch, mid-afternoon coffee or snack or for the four-course dinner in the evening where you have free choice of the menu. You can rest assured that we also have just the right drop of wine to suit whatever dish you choose.
The Birkenhof wellness and sauna facilities also incorporate a medicinal bath section and a beauty salon to ensure that your holiday will also be an unforgettable and invigorating experience. Our Finnish sauna, a Roman steam bath, a hot-whirlpool, an odorium and a solarium all ensure optimum relaxation. (Our guests also enjoy free admission to the Steibis-Bad (30°) which is open daily and is just 100 meters from the hotel.)
The Steibis golf course is only 1km away and the golf courses in Riefensberg/Bregenzerwald and Oberstaufen-Buflings are just a 15-minute car ride away. A further 6 courses are all within a 45-minute car ride.
