How to obtain a ticket:

Ticket machines are available at nearly all stations and can be used to buy single tickets, Bayern-Tickets, Regio-Tickets and Schönes-Wochenende-Tickets. Tip: If possible, please pay with the correct change or with small notes. The machine accepts EUR 50 notes, for example, only if you are buying a high-price ticket. If you cannot buy a ticket before entering the train due to a faulty ticket machine, please contact the train crew immediately. If you fail to do so, we are entitled to charge double the ticket price or a minimum of EUR 40.
In the few cases where there is not a ticket machine at your station, please contact the driver of your own accord. In many stations there are Travel Centers, where you can not only buy tickets, but also get advice. You can also buy tickets at our Deutsche Bahn agencies.
