The offer „In the footsteps of Emperors, Kings and Popes“ is a suggestion for a self-drive tour through Bavaria including the visit of Bavarias´ Religious Centres. Starting in Munich, the tour directs first to Oberammergau in the Ammergau Alps. On the following day, the German Alpine Road leads to the Bavarian National Shrine Altoetting, to which the third day is dedicated.
