"The early Dürer" exhibition in Nuremberg
Albrecht Dürer was the first German artist who already during his lifetime enjoyed wide recognition all over Europe.

2012 will be the year of Albrecht Dürer in Nuremberg
Nuremberg will be all about art in 2012. During the largest Dürer exhibition to be held in Germany in 40 years, entitled "The Early Dürer", Nuremberg's art and cultural scene will be networked in numerous activities, exhibitions and performances. It takes place May 24 - September 02, 2012.
In addition, the Academy of Fine Arts will be showcasing itself on the occasion of the Dürer Year in the New Museum and in the Fembo House City Museum.
