Franconian Bocksbeutel road
The "Mid-Franconian Bocksbeutel Road" covers some 50 kilometres across the heart of Franconia through the wonderful mid-mountain landscape of the Steigerwald nature Reserve and the Frankenhöhe – half way between Nuremberg and Würzburg, between Bamberg and Rothenburg.
Die " Mid-Franconian Bocksbeutel Road" is a cooperative of like-minded vintners, wine-producing associations, publicans, towns and parishes that are all committed to furthering quality and to a targeted regional marketing concept.
Guests to the region can enjoy the area’s intact and unspoilt nature whilst experiencing local culture and learning more about regional history!
