The Castle Road
All the way along this romantic route taking you from Mannheim to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Nuremberg, Bayreuth and Prague one has the feeling that history is still very much alive. The 70 or so fortresses, castles and palaces along the route are ready and waiting for you to visit. Numerous museums, mediaeval towns and enchanting buildings full of cultural treasures line the route through the most attractive of landscapes and bear witness to a time long gone.
