Anyone who wants to experience true Bavarian hospitality can do no better than to visit one of the state’s numerous traditional inns many of which take part in the “Bavarian Cuisine” competition organized every three years by the Bavarian Ministry of Agriculture in association with the BHG (Bayerischen Hotel- und Gaststättenverband e.V. – Bavarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants) and Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH to honour the exceptionally high quality of cuisine served in many of the state’s inns and restaurants.
