Down the mountain in the piste groomer
The Oberstaufen Plus guest card allows free travel up and down the cable car. But just occasionally it is great to do something a little special or maybe you just tarry a little too long over the last glass of Jagertee. So this year the Steibis in Oberstaufen resort has introduced the "piste groomer taxi".
The piste groomer cabin can carry up to 20 people through the snow-covered landscape of Imberg. During the day when the pistes are open you have to travel off-piste, of course. Pre-booked is essential and the taxi costs € 150 per hour. This just has to be the most comfortable way to get back down to the valley after a fun and liquid evening in one of the mountain chalets.
