There’s no such thing as “No touching!” in Swabia’s first Children’s Museum. Part of the Edwin Scharff Museum, it encourages its young visitors to wonder, question, research, explore and experiment.
Interactive displays on a wide variety of subject areas that change every year provide families, children and teenagers, and school and kindergarten classes with an inspiring range of activities.
The Art Museum in the Edwin Scharff Museum on Petrusplatz gives an overview of the work of Edwin Scharff (1887-1955). The painter and sculptor, who was born in Neu-Ulm, is one of the most important sculptors of the first half of the 20th century. The work of the non-representational painter Ernst Geitlinger (1895-1972) is also on display. Several special themed exhibitions on the art of the 20th century supplement the broad range of displays in the museum each year. For opening times and admission prices please visit the original website.
