When his grandparents’ distillery is to be closed, Fabian Kresers knows how to prevent this and asks his three buddies for help. Since then, the four of them have been distilling with great success: in 2018, the distillers win the silver medal with their gin “Snow White” at the Craft Spirit Festival – the most important fair for handmade spirits.
“We have named our gin after Snow White because the fairytale character is the figurehead of our home, the Spessart,” explains Markus Skrobanek. “Since we make a local product, it was also clear to us that we would name it after our homeland.” For their gin, the four use almost exclusively regional ingredients: spring water and Douglas fir needles from the forest and apples from their parents’ plantations. Only pure nature from the Spessart region is used in the glass. Here the boys tell us three great recipes for their Snow White Gin for dahoam.
