A trip along the River Regen
The boat trip from Blaibach to Regen takes 5 days and leads through rich and varied landscapes with peaceful forests and easy stretches of white water.
This is a great way to travel: sitting in a boat and paddling or riding the waves then sitting round a camp fire in the evening. A boat tour on the River Regen follows a 107 km route from Lake Blaibach in the Kötztinger Land region as far as Regensburg. Nature can be seen at its best from the water – here a kingfisher, there a beaver, and in the distance a castle or a village in an idyllic location. This boat route can be managed comfortably and safely in five daily stages, guaranteeing a memorable family experience. Camp sites are located at the end of each stage, but it is also possible to book accommodation in guesthouses or inns. Boats can be hired – everything from a one-man kayak to a four-man Canadian canoe for the whole family – as well as tents, luggage sacks, barbecues and much more. There is also a pick-up option for boats and travellers.
