In Franconia, you will find four UNESCO world heritage sites: Bamberg old town, the baroque Würzburg Residence, the Opera House in Bayreuth and the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes.

Around 40,000 kilometres of marked paths invite you to hike through river valleys, low mountain landscapes and forests. Alternatively, you can get on your bike.
