USA, New Zealand, South Africa: Christian Müller has lived in many different countries. Today, the 29-year-old is sitting in the courtyard of the family vineyard in the Franconian town of Volkach, saying: “We are blessed, living here. The landscape may have been shaped over the centuries by humans, but it looks like the Garden of Eden. Just take a look around you!”
And it is true: The region around the striking path that the River Main cuts into the landscape looks extremely opulent: Vineyards rise from the banks of the Main, some mor steeply than others. Meadows and orchards sit side-by-side in the valleys. The fertility of the region between Würzburg and Schweinfurt is clear, thanks to the endless palette of green shades.
